Pale blue glass shard

Transparent blue, the colour of our condensed atmosphere, clean water; barely even matter, more a medium. Like a pale iris or a vein beneath the skin. Glass is a frozen liquid – super cooled so fast it didn’t have time to get its structure together. It’s a record of a material, mid-movement, mid-transformation. Still mid-swim, it’s left an invisible paisley – eddies and ripples of tension like a weather-map inside it.
